Family Fun Day and Wiffle Ball Invitational Tournament
Sunday, June 13, 2010 - 1pm to 6pm
The Hope for Addiction 2010 Family Fun Day and Wiffleball Tournament was held on June 13th at St. Joseph the Worker Church in Levittown. We are so grateful to our caring community for turning out in support of our cause despite the heat and rain! The Wiffleball Tournament was a big success –eleven teams participated, and the competition was fierce but fun! Every team played hard and was in it to win it, but of course there can only be one big winner….and that was the Levittown Legends! Congratulations Legends….and thank you to all of the competitors for being such good sports and participating in this worthy cause.
We also want to thank everyone who donated their goods, services and time to help us. Your support and generosity make it possible for us to continue our efforts to raise awareness of the growing problem of addiction in our community, educate parents about the warning signs of addiction and the importance of early intervention, provide assistance to those in our community seeking help, and of course to fund much needed research into the causes of addiction to finally discover a cure.
